Universities Denmark

Universities Denmark represents Denmark’s eight universities and works to promote cooperation, visibility, and societal impact across the university sector.

The organisation seeks to secure the best possible framework conditions for its member universities in carrying out their core missions of research, research-based education, and knowledge dissemination. It provides a forum in which university leaders and staff can address issues of common concern, develop joint initiatives, and engage in dialogue with policymakers, ministries, and key stakeholders.

Rector Jens Ringsmose serves as Chair of the Danish Rectors’ Conference and is the official spokesperson for Universities Denmark.
